may i be the least... and He be the Most. may i be consumed and captivated by His Heart. may my every action, word, and thought be for His Glory...

as many of you know, i will be heading to montrouis, haiti in a few weeks. i will be working with an orphanage and christian school there - - - www.canaanorphanage.org - - - i cannot wait. very few things in life are we absolutely, without a doubt certain of - but for me, this is one such thing. the way it unfolded, the finances, the people, everything was laid out in grace and orchestrated by Someone much bigger than i. it all happened so fast and so smoothly, i know He is in control.
i want to welcome you to my blog where i will be recording my heart and the miracles God is doing so many miles away. i invite you to pray with me and love with me on these beautiful children who are but a glimpse of His glory.
much more will come. this is only the beginning....
"in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God" john 1:1 - what a way to begin, i pray the Word is with me, in me, and consumes me.
captivated,
brittan

-moonekins!
i'm sooooooo proud of you. thank the lord for open hearts like yours. i know you will touch lives powerfully. God does that through you wherever you are. love you.
Hey Brittan, thanks for the note. You've always been very creative in those sort of things. In that, I pray that the Lord would give you creative ways to reach people while you are there. That your little acts of kindness and actions will show thoughtfulness, even to those who don't speak your language, and your love for people will translate in a way that changes lives and eternal destinies while you are there. I'm excited for you to be going there. May the Lord give you strength and encouragement while you are there so that you can pour yourself out for them but not be left empty but always be filled up and expanded so that you can pour out all the more. You are a blessing to watch and see how the Lord works. Continue on with diligence and peace, knowing the Lord has already taken care of everything. This is going to be a great time of blessing and satisfaction for you. Go Brittan!
